Description of the organisation: Trešnjevka Cultural Centre is a public socio-cultural institution founded by the city of Zagreb. We deliver programmes that aim at education in arts and culture, as well as enhancing creative potentials, artistic expression and lifelong learning. Besides our Local Community Centre programmes, the Centre offers the following: TNT – a theatre venue hosting independent theatre groups; TREPS – a dance and movement performing platform; PODIJ GLAZBENIH AMATERA – an amateur music performing platform; MODULOR – a gallery for architecture and design; MELISA – a programme for the elderly; CHERRY CINEMA – organizing film festivals, film and video workshops and performances; SOCIOCULTURAL CENTRE – offering urban culture programmes with emphasis on multiculture. In partnership with other institutions we organize and conduct researches in cultural habits and needs.
