Description of the organisation: Culture and Arts Project NOASS is a creative intelligence association and it is one of the oldest non-governmental arts and culture organisations in Latvia. NOASS’ goal is to participate in the formation of the Latvian and European cultural environment. We support the realisation of contemporary art projects in an urban environment, making art a part of the daily lives of Riga's residents and visitors. Our aim is to nurture the creativity of society and individuals.

Main projects in 2009: Video Art Archive covering the entire history of Latvian video art from the late 1980s to present day; International Video Art Festival; "Waterpieces" audiovisual art exhibition/competition; artistic residencies; Naive Art Museum of Latvia.
Foreseen projects in 2010: Naive Art Museum of Latvia annual exhibition; presentation of Russian artist group "Mitki"; participation in the International Naive Art Festival FESTNAIVE in Moscow; International Video Art Festival; "Waterpieces" exhibition.
